Elder Ballif’s week ending August 2, 2015
Here is an interior picture of the Indiana Temple just opening
It has been an awesome week and it is the last week of my first transfer out here in Indiana. We weren’t too successful this week as far as missionary work, it was about the same as last week. However we did pick up an investigator named Amanda and will be meeting with her in a couple days.
We haven’t been able to meet with our investigator Amelia this week so we had to postpone her baptism but we are still confident that it will work out with her.
The members here are so awesome and take care of us so well. There is a couple in the ward called the Parkers that are moving down to Hurricane. They are awesome people and it would be awesome to be able to go visit them when I get home, once in a while. We did a lot of service this week. We had a family move out, a piano get moved from the Parkers, and two move ins. One of the families we moved in are called the Rubersons and Bro. Ruberson is a no filter Texan and he’s proud of it. As I’m sure you all imagine we get along great. Haha. Anyway, things are going great out here and am looking forward to this next week and next transfer.
Today we have a zone volleyball tournament and that will be awesome. Thank you all for your support and your emails!
