Wow this transfer is flying by! It seems like yesterday I was in Columbus with Elder Heimuli!
We had a great week this week! We were able to find several people we can teach, which is nice because now our time is filled with things to do besides tracting. We had district meeting this week and I high priested it which means wearing a suit coat with non matching slacks. I will probably do that all the time when I get home. haha
We didn’t get fed a whole lot this week, which is okay because that means I got to make a Ramen-egg sandwich for lunch, which is fantastic btw, and we made chicken for dinner with the other elders in the ward.
On Thursday something pretty great happened, this whole week we have been doing our best to be diligent in finding people and really haven’t seen any results, but on Thursday we went tracting and had a prayer with a member and in less than an hour we taught eight lessons and got two new investigators! That may not seem like a lot compared to my other areas, but in Greenwood getting five total lessons in one day is pretty good and we got eight in less than an hour! It wasn’t our teaching skills, that’s for sure. haha. I think it was God telling us to keep working and that it would pay off.
In addition to that miracle we were able to meet with David Percifield and his mom again and we put him on date for Mar 5, he has been taught for a while now and is ready to go so we are happy for him.
Hope you all had a great week! Here are some pictures. (finally)
P.S That snow the week before last didn’t last long. On Saturday it got up to 73 degrees!!
P.P.S. That picture of me and Elder Walton in front of BDUBs is with Elder Sam Smith. He was my Zone leader in Columbus and some of you may recognize him because he graduated from Dixie in 2014. He knew Zack decently well and we got to know each other pretty well. He was a fantastic zone leader and a great friend.
