Hey you Mormons!
Life in Goshen certainly never has a dull moment, okay it does sometimes, but this week was crazy!!! We tried biking to our church for a lesson and instead ended up lost on some stupid county road in the middle of nowhere and had to have a member come and bail us out (thank you Brother Clark)
But anyway, it all turned out okay because we were able to set up some visits with people we didn’t think would meet with us at first and were able to teach our two baptismal dates, Stephanie and William. They both are doing great and for the most part are progressing well.
General Conference! Holy cow, General conference was so inspiring to me, so much about families, youth, and living in rememberence of who we truly are as sons and daughters unto God. When our general authorities speak to us often times it is a warning. The family has always been under attack, especially lately. My encouragement to all of you is to always strive to follow the counsel on how we can strengthen ourselves and our families against the temptations of the adversary. In the words of Elder Holland, “He is a miserable man, bound by eternal limitations.” Let us strive to not let him influence our lives.
